South Staffordshire Housing Association

South Staffordshire Housing Association is the largest social landlord in South Staffordshire. They work hard to maintain and improve residents’ homes, spending over £7 million each year ensuring that homes are modern, safe and comfortable for people.

But it’s not just about the properties they manage. They also care about local neighbourhoods, and spend over a million pounds each year on work outside customers’ homes. Cutting grass, adapting people’s homes, supporting play schemes, organising fundraising events and helping set up local tenants’ groups are all examples of ways that they regularly help their customers.

They work with residents in their homes, in villages, on estates and even in conservation areas; their philosophy is to go out to the customer and do business in a way that suits their needs.

They are also a major employer in South Staffordshire with around 200 people working for the Association including housing officers, money advisors and supported living co-ordinators.

Managing Director

Sue Rowley BSc(Hons), MCIH, DMS, MCMI is the Managing Director of South Staffordshire Housing Association and is responsible for the delivery of the overall strategic direction of the Association, Sue is also a member of the Group Management Team for Central Borders Housing Group.
