Finance
Within the Resources division, the Head of Finance's team ensures that the Group complies with all statutory and Housing Corporation requirements and provides information and a central service for financial procedures to other sections of the Group.
Management Information
A Management Accountant and Finance Officers prepare, investigate and analyse accounting information for the Boards of Management and Group Management Team and undertake feasibility studies. They also monitor the contract register, ensuring spending is within original contract value.
Income and Expenditure
Under the supervision of the Financial Services Officer, a Finance Officer, Finance Assistant, Payments Officer and Part-time Finance Assistant maintain the Group's Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger, ensuring prompt creditor payments, raising of invoices and monitoring/investigating overdue accounts.
The team also reconciles bank accounts, cash receipts and rent receipts and administers a Direct Debit service.
Payroll
The Payroll/Insurances Officer undertakes the administration of payrolls for the Group's 130 monthly-paid and 70 weekly-paid employees, involving processing timesheets and employee-related expenses.
