Property Care and Improvements

Our Property Care team offers a comprehensive maintenance and repair service across the group and beyond.

The team’s repairs performance is among the best in the country, delivering consistently high levels of tenant satisfaction (96 per cent in 2006/7) and exceeding the Housing Corporation’s targets in all categories. Last year Property Care completed more than 12,000 jobs, and spent £7.2 million on responsive and planned repairs.

The team’s strength lies in its experience in and knowledge of the sector. Employing highly qualified multi-skilled staff trained in diversity and customer care, Our Property Care team understands property maintenance, in particular in the social housing sector.

As well as the 5,300 homes we currently maintain for South Staffordshire Housing Association, the Property Care team undertakes refurbishment and improvement projects and maintains a further 1,000 homes for external clients such as Bushbury Hill Estate Management Board and Midland Heart.
